Water Project at the UANL High School Level

Abstract

This project, whose objective is to raise awareness about the correct use and collection of water, seeks to get the student population and the community in general involved in the care of this resource and the environment. It is considered necessary and appropriate to carry out this project in order to to help care for water and overcome the crisis due to water scarcity that occurs in the state of Nuevo León. As mentioned, the state of Nuevo León presents a water shortage crisis, as a consequence of this the communities have had the supply of drinking water in their homes reduced, providing this service for a limited time, this project seeks to Through the collection of rainwater, it is reused for domestic tasks and generates social responsibility committed to the environment. The Methodology used in the research is quantitative and qualitative; the first allowed us to know and retrieve statistics about the student community regarding the use and consumption of water in the UANL facilities, specifically in High School 25 “Dr. “Eduardo Aguirre Pequeno”. Also, analyze the prices provided by Agua y Drenaje de Monterrey, in order to find measures to reduce and reuse water in other areas; On the other hand, the second helped carry out observations and interviews to acquire data about the community with which they want to work. The project, through a pedagogical intervention in the curriculum, seeks to guide students to be committed to society, in addition to getting them involved in the development of innovations to improve the community and acquire values. Likewise, teachers should be guides and motivate students to achieve the objective.
