Latin American Educational Policies addresses secondary education in different countries in Europe and Latin America through a study approach that has gained prominence in the academic field: Comparative Education. This field has experienced significant advances in terms of theoretical and methodological approaches, consolidating its presence in educational research by addressing objects of study that intersect with the processes of internationalization of education and globalization. These, in turn, are intertwined with technological changes, generating new ways of understanding educational processes, especially in relation to the digitalization and virtualization of school environments at practically all levels and modalities of educational systems.
